Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Ah today is the first day of the Easter brake and nothing brightens up you day more than 3 more days off ahead. I spent the day relaxing, being lazy and make up free, horizontal for most of it and indulging into one too many hot cross buns.

I’ve been wanting to write this post for a while now simply because the shots came out so nicely and the location is so breathtakingly beautiful.

This view never gets old. And neither does Sass & Bide. You probably know by now how much I love the iconic Aussie brand. Every piece of clothing is a masterpiece with unique prints and embellishments inspired by nature, earth and tribal cultures.

Now about the dress… I fell in love with it when I saw it. Isn’t it just stunning? The deep navy shade will work with any skin tone and hair colour. Two long silk panels make the dress look even more elegant and add Grecian feel to it. What I also love about this dress is the gold embellishment around the waist which makes my waistline appear slimmer. The same embellishment around the neck line eliminates the need to wear a necklace. But what I thought would look amazing with the dress is this statement gold plated ring for World of Solu.

World of Solu is a luxury handmade jewelry brand.Β Every piece is made out of precious metals and finest gem stones and carries it’s own spiritual meaning. It was only natural for me to chose the location for the shoot amongst natures most powerful element – rocks and water. It rained a bit just before we got there so the faint rainbow added magic and spiritual force to the photos.

High heeled gold pumps and metallic blue bag complete the look. As you might have guessed it was impossible to wear the shoes on this uneven surface.
