MBFW 2015 – Manning Cartell

Last post on MBFWA 2015 I promise 🙂  Couldn’t leave out one of my favorite Aussie labels Manning Cartell. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend the show due to sickness which was so disappointing 🙁

First of all the space where the show took place looked amazing and different to anything else I’ve seen this year. Broad white runway and hanging string lights gave the room that “something special is about to happen” feel.

The collection is influenced by 70’s biggest trends – bold colours, geometric prints, sheer fabrics, light blue denim, polka dots and red lipstick. There also a few really beautifully embellished pieces with a bit of bling (oh you know how much I love bling!!!). The colour palette is quite extensive which is exciting from monochromatic black and white combinations to beautiful shades of blue, orange, bright green and soft neon mint. Amazing footwear too. Can’t wait for this collection to hit the stores got my eye on a couple of pieces already.
