Letting Go

It’s not a secret that I have been quite overwhelmed lately. Good kind of overwhelmed – with love, happiness and joy. At the same time I will lie if I say I’m not exhausted, sleep deprived or that I’m completely nailing the parenting gig. Or is there even such a thing? Can it be all perfect? Well this what has been number one on my to do list this week – learning to let go. Being a perfectionist and used to getting things done without a delay I found it hard to adjust and simply put take it easy. But this is what I realized – my daughter is only this little once and our time together is so precious. Some days nothing I plan gets done but instead me and her are bonding and getting to know each other and the rest can wait.

On a different note spring has sprung in the southern hemisphere and it’s all about composing new spring/summer wardrobe and adjusting it to changes in my lifestyle and body shape. Still hard to believe I’m no longer pregnant and can wear whatever I want including skinny white jeans! Bomber jackets are so in this spring and I am new to the trend with my first lacy bomber. A little more elegant than a regular bomber and will be perfect for casual outfits with denim or over summer dresses and heels for an evening look.

Bomber – Cue

Jeans – Zara

T-shirt – Bassike

Clutch and bangle – Saint Laurent
