Give It A Boot

The longer I live in a warmer climate the more excited I get for winter each year. Season change dictates wardrobe update. Finally we can layer up and rug up ( without sweating bullets) and wear boots. A good pair of boots is my number one winter essential hands down. We are really lucky here in Australia because our boots can last a few seasons comparing to other places in the world with harsh weather conditions during winter. And this is why a great pair of boots is totally worth the investment.

When choosing an investment boot think timeless and classic but not boring. You want the boots to be able to stand out and be a statement or not take away from the outfit when needed.

Designer boots do cost an arm and a leg however most designers have their staple boot style(s) they repeat year after year so investing into a pair of those is a smart decision as you will never be accused in wearing last season. And if looking “last season” isn’t a concern you can even pick up a seasonal colour of that same style boot on sale!

These Givenchy Shark Tooth high boots are my pride and joy and were my 30th birthday gift 2 years ago. They are released every year and also come in a shorter version.

I will attach a few of my favorite investment pairs below for your viewing and who knows you might be purchasing your dream pair this winter 🙂
