Date Night

This is what I wore on our recent date night a few weeks ago now. Taking me a while to post this outfit and it is a little winterish but still appropriate for night time.

Let’s talk date nights. Before having our baby my husband and I went out at least once a week for lunch or dinner and drinks just the two of us. Now of course things are different and going out as a family requires a lot more planning – is the restaurant spacious enough for the pram, are there stairs, or is it generally baby friendly or are we going to cope death stares from people siting near us? Trying not to run late for your booking can also be difficult due to “last minute” outfit change sometimes for all three of us if you know what I mean lol. There are so many more things to worry about that sometimes you feel like it’s easier to just stay home. And that’s when I think having a date night or lunch is very important not only to avoid the stress of getting everyone ready and out of the house but also to reconnect and almost remind yourselves where it all began and that you love each others company.
