Birthday Suit

Words cannot describe how excited I was to receive this gorgeous Balmain dress for my birth day a month ago. Absolutely besotted. I wanted it so bad and now I have it. Yey! When I first saw it I knew straight away how amazing it was going to fit first of all because of the cut and second of all the pattern. And then I tried it on… oh yes I wasn’t wrong.Β Optical illusion created by netted see through and black panels of this dress gives you Kim K like curves. The whole dress is sewed in together in a crochet like manner which makes it extremely delicate. The length is perfect – just short enough to look classy. And wearable with long boots or ankle boots, or pumps.

I seriously was channeling my inner Kardashian and paired the dress up with my latest shoe crush – Givenchy wedge boots. They were at the top of my wish list for a while and boom I got them for my birthday as well (it was a big 30 so I got lots of pressies). I haven’t taken them off ever since. These boots look equally stunning over tight jeans or pants as they do over bare legs. In fact I have been wearing them a lot over skinny jeans lately just like the outfit a couple of posts back. Great boots are certainly worth the investment and will make your winter outfits stand out.

I took it easy with other accessories for this look. A cute dainty ring with black crystals seemed very appropriate s well as my favorite pearl Dior earrings because I simply can’t go without them.
