Back to Black
Yes it is a black dress! I am the queen of colour. I wear bright colours often and feel very comfortable doing it. In saying that black has a huge presence in my wardrobe which you haven’t probably notice but you will now coming into cooler season.
Can you have too many black dresses? I don’t think so. Black is flattering for any body shape and is so versatile. Wear it day or night it always looks elegant. What I particularly like is to brighten up a black outfit with bright accessories. Think red, pink, violet, mint or blue and black combos are usually a killer. And of course black and white but that is a story for another blog post 🙂
This little faux leather dress wasn’t something I was looking for as I already own at least half a dozen of black dresses but who is counting?? So I stumbled upon this number at my local Zara store (which I religiously visit once a week). It is a kind of dress you instantly know how to style at least 3-4 different ways. From elegant or cheeky for a night out to casual and even sport luxe. For this post I decided to do black and red combination mostly because I wanted to show off my vintage Karl Lagerfeld clip ons that I love but don’t wear very often which is a real shame. Then came my Louboutin’s and red MacQueen bag. Outfit is complete.
